Ellipse Nordlys
We use the versatile, customisable Nordlys for its state-of-the-art combination of light based and laser technology, Nd:YAG.
The Nordlys is used to:
- Reduce the redness of rosacea and facial telangiectasias (some treatments may be eligible for a Medicare rebate)
- Reduce the appearance of adult port wine stains, haemangiomas and other vascular lesions
- Treat superficial leg veins
- Treat venous lakes
- Reduce the appearance of brown spots such as lentigines (liver spots) and freckles
- Provide facial rejuvenation
- Reduce the appearance of poikiloderma of civatte
- Help improve the appearance of some scars.
There are some conditions, such as acne and rosacea, where it is really important to manage the inflammatory medical problem before using laser and light devices. We combine them with medical therapies as part of a complete treatment plan. Before treating pigment spots, it is important to rule out skin cancers before considering cosmetic improvements.
